Dukaan Manager ("we", "us", "our") provides a shop management application that helps small business owners in Pakistan track sales, expenses, wages, udhaar (credit), purchases, and rent. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Dukaan Manager and how we handle it.

When you sign up for and use Dukaan Manager, we collect:

• Account information: your name, mobile number, business/shop name, and a securely hashed password.
• Business data you enter: sales, expenses, wages, udhaar transactions, purchases, rent records, and related notes you record while using the app.
• Staff information: if you add staff accounts, their name and mobile number.
• Usage and device information: basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and troubleshooting.

• To provide and operate the Dukaan Manager service, including your dashboard, reports, and staff accounts.
• To authenticate your account and verify your identity, including sending one-time codes (OTP) for password resets.
• To process subscription payments and manage billing.
• To respond to support requests and communicate important account or service updates.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the platform.

Your data is stored on secured, access-controlled cloud database infrastructure. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic hashing before being saved. Access to production data is restricted to the individuals who operate Dukaan Manager and is used only to provide support or maintain the service.

We do not sell your personal or business data. We only share information with:

• Payment processors (such as EasyPaisa or its payment partners), to process your subscription payments.
• SMS/communication providers, to deliver one-time passcodes and account notifications to your mobile number.
• Authorities, only where required by applicable law.

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

Dukaan Manager is intended for business owners and staff and is not directed at children.
